I am looking for a technician in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle area prefered, that is good on Leblanc clarinets. I have a very nice Concerto, but I need something evaluated and there is no one in my neck of the woods who can do that.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Scott Granlund in Seattle is good, and I don't see why he wouldn't be good with Leblancs. Further south, Dick Boberg in Beaverton, OR is a decent tech who prefers Leblanc clarinets and probably knows them well.

And your neck of the woods is where? Brad Wherry at Northwest Winds is in the Lake City neighborhood in the north end of Seattle, near NE 125th and Lake City Way. On the south end near the airport is Steve McComas at Oberloh Woodwind and Brass, S 180th and 1st Ave S. Brad did a nice job overhauling my bass. Steve has worked on every clarinet I own and has done a great job.

I'm not sure if this helps, but the sax guys ONLY go to Northwest Winds. They are phenominal.

Thanks for the thread on NW clarinet repair specialists. I found it very informative. Now I know were to take by '60s Selmer and Leblanc.

Morrie Backun up in Vancouver CA is also very good. He's worked on my Concerto A.
