Has anybody tried a Bakun barrel with a B&H 1010?
They make them for about £100.
Look forward to your replies.

You may want to look at this thread http://test.woodwind.org/clarinet/BBoard/read.html?f=1&i=103086&t=103017. It's specifically about the 1010.
----- (here's the specific message) ----
Morrie supplied me with a grenadilla barrel suited for my 1010. My objective was to try a longer barrel to address some intonation issues, and Morrie's barrel not only accomplished that but also added (to my ear) a degree of resonance that I found appealing.
Morrie's policy at that time was that a buyer could exchange one barrel for another free of charge at any time. I found him to be prompt and courteous

Sounds like something I'd like to look into. I'm trying to get my equipment back "up to speed" now that I have time to play again.

Hmmm......Brenda, I usually find that it is ME that is "not up to speed"--expecially in the AMs. May I should upgrade some of my "equipement" as well--although at 64, "renovation" might be more appropriate terminology.
