JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED A CLARINET ANDI WAS TRYING TO FIND OUT INFO ON IT. ITS A WOODEN ONE AND ON IT IT SAYS ROBERT MARTEL SUPERIEURE WITH A HARP LIKE LOGO. CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW OLD IT MIGHT BE OR WHO MIGHT MAKE IT? COULDNT FIND N E THING ON THE NET.

Robert Martel was a smaller French maker, first half of the 20th Century I think.
According to O. Lee Gibson's book (if I remember correctly) Jack Brymer or Reginald Kell at one time played a Martel clarinet. I've never seen one on the market myself.
