Hello Everyone!
I did a googlish deed on the internet and found nothing very helpful about this. I'm wondering where I can find out about and apply to various clarinet or concerto competitions open to people from anywhere. What are some good concerto competitions for clarinetists to enter, i.e. what could possibly yield the most benefit in exposure as well as prize-money?
Thanks
GMDC

Check the ICA website. They have their own competitions and also serve as a clearing house for info on clarinet-related activities around the country.

I would be interested in the same information. Aside from the ICA that is all that I know of. I am really writing to keep this alive so that people will assist in our quest to find places to compete.

This may be a shameless plug, but my university holds a woodwind competion every year. It's too late for this year, but you may be interested in the 2005 contest. Take a look for yourself.
