today, my i cleaned my clarinet mouthpiece with white vinager to remove some build up i had on it. when i was done i found a white spot on the mouthpiece that wouldn't go away. its not build up because it feels the same as the rest of the mouthpiece. what could have caused this fading and how can i remove it?

sorry, krawfish - get a black magic marker or some ebony stain --- get a cutip & dab it. let it dry. soak in lemon juice. then fuhgeddaboudit.

[no one ever said that the mouthpiece makers are perfect in their coloring of mouthpieces & I have seen this b4]
