I'm thinking of buying some more works for the quartet I'm in. It consists of 3 Bbs and a bass. What pieces would you all recommend? I know there is a database on this site, I would just like everyones opinion on what you feel is a good piece. Thanks for all of your help!

I know a clarinet quartet piece that I can recommend, although both of them are arrangements. There is an arrangement of Gershwin's Three Preludes by... something Brady... That's been arranged well... actually for 1 Eb, 2 Bb and bass. Another one would be Piazolla's Tango music that I can't remember the name of. I think it's rare to find it in this country... (I think it was imported from South America...) Otherwise, there are arrangements of Mozart that are well-done.
If I come across to one, I'll be sure to post it on here. Happy Playing!

Don't forget also that lots of Sax Quartets can be adapted to clarinets due to the range of the clarinet. Just something to think about.

Not sure what you will have already done....
Uhl 4tet (3 b flats and bass)
Tackacs, Homage to Pan (3 b flats and bass)
Bozza 4tet (e flat, 2, bass)
Francaix (arr. of sax 4tet) (2 b flats, basset horn and bass)
Clare Grundman, Bagatelle (4 b flats, I think!)
There are plenty more!

Last weekend I heard two quartets arranged by Wil van der Beek:
"Escapades" with 4 movements - Doia, Blues, arcade, and Cup
"A Picnic Suite" with 3 movements - Bossa, Blues (my personal favorite), and Salsa.
The college students appeared to be having a good time playing these two. I would like to play "A Picnic Suite" this fall.

Art Marshall has made some wonderful arrangements of George Gershwin. Try "Summertime", "Somebody loves me", and "Liza". Great fun to play.

I mean at what level of proficiency are the musicians in the group, if you can quantify it? I don't know your ensemble, so I'm not taking it for granted that they're "advanced".
Anyway, the reason I asked was because of this:

The pieces are mostly transcriptions, but many are excellent if you're looking for some lighter repertoire.
