 Ridenour Student Bass

Has anyone tried a Ridenour student model bass clarinet? What is your opinion of it?

No responses to Dawne's question yet; has no one played it? I was just looking at the description. It is double register key, it is priced the same as a Vito or Bundy ($1000), it is purported to be a superior plastic, and Tom Ridenour has had a hand in its design. It sounds very interesting. Anyone?
