I don't know if you all remember me buying a Buffet student clarinet but not knowing what model it was - as the number next to the B had rubbed off.
Well, saw one on australian ebay (no I'll be a good girl and won't post that particular link here) and it's listed as a B13 and looks exactly the same. (Except every buffet I see has buffet on the barrel, and mine doesn't, yet the finish matches the rest of the clarinet - so very confusing)...
Mystery is solved.:) (for anyone curious, this is my clarinet

I'm sure no-one really cares, but I'm happy to know what my clarinet actually is. I knew the year of make etc. but not what it was.

Well, I don't believe there's such a model as a B13 - there's E13s and R13s, and B10s and B12s.

Actually, on closer look at the pics on ebay of this particiular clarinet, it does say B13.
Perhaps this model was only marketed in Australia etc.?

I think so - at least I've never seen or heard of one and it's not listed on the Buffet site. The ad mentions it's plastic so it's a B series, and that 13 is very distinct in the picture.

I can't substantiate this, but I'm sure I've heard of a B-13 too. Maybe it's an Ozzie thing? lol
