 Martin Bursine Clarinet
Author: Wm Brown
Date:   2004-01-20 01:53

I have just purchased a wooden Martin Bursine soprano clarinet made in Italy,
SN 5250.

Does anyone have any information on the maker, age, etc.

This instrument is in playable condition, and appears to have leather pads on both joints.

Thanks

Bill

Wm - Try a search using Martin BUSINE, there may be a little info out there. Likely is a "stencil" name [for US sale] by one of several [quite good] Italian mfgrs of the 40's-60's. Luck, Don

Thanx, Mark, Don
