 Old Smokey?!?

Sorry - not exactly clarinet related but ... had a trivia question which I didn't know the answer to and it's bugging the crust out of me

What Shostakovich symphony has a quote from the (American?) tune "On top of old smokey".

I own the whole cycle of his (tortured and depressing) symphonies and it's obviously escaped me. Any clues?

Diz... My guess would be Symphony #15. If you recall, that is the symphony with the most musical quotes - some from his own works and some from other composers (Rossini, Wagner).

It wouldn't surprise me at all if "On Top of Old Smokey" was somewhere in there...GBK
