In the beginning....(no, not Genesis)... In he beginning of Ridenour's ATG system booklet, he waxes philosophical. There are two things that are certain....One has to do with reeds, the other is that THE CUBS WILL NOT BE INVOLVED INT THE WORLD SERIES!!The book was written in 2003 (MMIII as he calls it)
but it was written before the NCLS, so Mr. R is a PROPHET.
As for the ATG...it seems to balance the reeds ok. Not sure about voicing.
He gets a bit philosophical about voicing too....two pages worth.

All true Cubs fans knew this but that does not prevent them from dreaming.
I don't know TR, but ,having been a LeBlanc associate or employee he probably spent time in Kenosha and, by default, Chicago.

This 'splains it:
The fan who snagged the foul ball knew about the Ridenour thesis, and being in cahoots with the publisher of the ATG booklet, determined that the author must NOT be allowed to be in error. ergo..............
Elementary Dr. Watson.

Best published quote after the playoffs was something like "The Cubs didn't want to lose, but they can't help it--they"re the Cubs."
