A problem with using one mouthpiece on more than one clarinet is that the mouthpiece will fit well on one instrument but be too loose in the barrel of another. The only thing I know to do is the wrap the mouthpiece cork with paper. Does anyone have a better approach? Thanks!!!

I find that Teflon tape (pipe thread tape) works pretty well for temporarily wrapping tenon corks to build up their diameter.

I also prefer the teflon tape method as a temporary fix.
Waxed dental floss is another possibility...GBK

If its a continuing "hassle" such as using the same mp for Bb and A, get the same size barrel sockets made/bought , problem solved! Don
