JJM,
Caught part of Broadway on Broadway. How nice to see live musicians!!! I was expecting tape after the recent unpleasantness. Did I count a full complement of reeds on stage? Almost fell off my chair. Who played the gig?

Hi:
Thanks for the compliment. It was great to be there.
In the woodwind section there were 5 of us:
Dennis Anderson (fl., picc., clar. alto)
Rick Heckman (ob., eng.hn., clar., tenor)
Lino Gomez (fl., clar., alto)
John Moses (fl., clar., soprano, tenor)
Mark Thrasher (clar., bass cl., bassoon, bari)
We rehearsed all the charts with the different B'way casts on Fri. 10-5, then did a Sun. am sound check for TV, Radio, and CD crews.
Played the show live on Times Square, NYC for 100,000 fans. The concert was 11:30-1:00, and then we went off to play our respective show matinees at 3:00.
A full Sunday's work of LIVE music. We hope all who saw it enjoyed it.

Would love to have heard it [back in the boonies!], might it have been recorded for later PBS/NPR performance? Don
Thanx, Mark, Don

Don,
NBC had the broadcast rights for BonB this year. Perhaps they'll rebroadcast it again on the network, or maybe one of the cable affiliates.
