What do y'all think of these 2 mpcs? I considering getting one of them. Also, is a V12 3.5 strong enough for an M15?

Choice of mouthpiece is a very personal matter. That's why there's so much disagreement on which is the "best", or even which ones are very good. I use the M30 and love it. I don't recall trying the M15 and don't know anything about it. I use a Gonzalez FOF 3.5 reed.

I have one of each, and have played many of each. I think that the M30's are a bit darker, or duller in sound, depending on the one you get. The M15's play easily, but have a more open sound. No two are exactly alike. V12 3.5 should work well on either. Good luck!

A good way of looking at it is that the m30 is a newer improved version of the m30. It allows a lot of the same good things that the m15 has but also has a greater ability to project. Also.. try using the regular box of reeds as the m30 and the m15 were designed to be played with them

I tended more towards the M15 in my own personal feelings as to orchestral sound, yet like the M30 for soloist character and volume.
I felt the M15 was more like the old Chedeville's in terms of ease of articulation and delicacy of nuance. In terms of dynamics and flexiblility very nice.
Both, however, are very fine and the better of the recent Vandoren pieces on the market!!!
