This past summer I had the opportunity to make friends with a clarinetist from Tashkent, Uzbekistan at Interlochen and I've kept in touch with him over the past year. He is quite talented and driven, but he lacks the funds to achieve a lot of his goals, coming from a fairly destitute situation. He recently received a full scholarship to both the camp and Academy at Interlochen for this next year, but needs some sort of support in order to afford transportation and various expenses.
I was hoping someone might have some ideas as to foundations or private companies that might be interested in sponsoring him. Any help is truly appreciated.

My son spent 3 years at IAA; most of the foreign students in that situation (and there are many) are sponsored by churches.
