Hi,
There's always talk about BG Revelation and Super Revelation. Is it true that you get the best of both worlds (fabric and metal)? What's the difference between the 2 besides gold plating? Any comments thanks!

I bought my BG Super relevation a few months ago and I personally love it! I went through about 9 or 10 different ligatures or maybe even more before I picked it. i like the solid rich sound it gives me I didn't really notice a significant difference betweent eh relavation and the super ecxept for the slight difference int he texture of the sound that the gold plating produced. PersonallyI like the Super because it produces an eeven rich tone for me, but I don't know if it would work for you; everyone has their own personal opinion. Hope I could help!

I feel like this.
The structure of BG ligature is a honeycomb-like thin plate plus cloth-like band. The thin plate shaped to touch the center of the reed stock enables somewhat freer or brighter tones. The synthetic cloth band is the natural result to support this thin film legs gently and straightly(minute deviation of position is corrected by its flexibleness.) If metal band is used, it cannot fulfill these conditions and the natural frequency of the ligature(band plus thin plate) becomes very much bigger.
