No need to correct spelling, Pedler's been around for decades. Can you rescue it? Sure. Some horns require more attention than others but most of 'em can be salvaged.

Rescue is my intent. Key action very pretty good. Pads all need to be replaced. Sound is suprisingly good

The ten-point plan to rescue a metal Pedler:
1. Remove keys.
2. Polish instrument. Do not damage springs.
3. Remove pads.
4. Polish keys. Do not damage springs.
5. Replace pads.
6. Reassemble Clarinet.
7. Adjust key movements.
8. Replace any damaged sheet cork.
9. Recheck key adjustments.
X..Enjoy Clarinet.
Do use a polish that has very little and very fine abrasive content. Sure, the reassembly process has a few sub-steps (such as cleaning out the screw holes, rubbing any rust off the screws, oiling *very* lightly, etc.). But that's about it. If it will play well, it's well worth rescuing.
