 Regular or Inverted?

Mainly curiosity, but I'm wondering how many BB users play on regular or inverted ligatures.

I've always thought that inverted were better as they were less binding, allowed more of the reed to vibrate, etc.. However... I found this old Sumner Acousitcut ligature (some of you may remember them) which is NOT inverted. I don't think I've ever used a ligature like this one. I've got a BG, Rovner, Bonade and Bay (some others, but not that good) and this old lig out plays them by 100%. I've played on the Optimum and some other newer brands in stores, but still can't find anything to beat my Sumner. Geez, hope I don't squash it!!!!!!

What are your thoughts? Inquiring minds want to know!!!

I tend to go inverted. Guess it's just a preference. I've only tried three ligs, and I just ordered a Bonade inverted so we'll see how that goes.
