I am currently working on extreme altissimo, and can only get fingerings to work up to high Eb. There are fingerings on the web and in the Ridenour book for E natural, but they do not work for me, and I need to play that high. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, I'm looking for multiphonic fingerings, lots of them. There is an article in Vol. 1 No. 1 of The Clarinet, and I've also looked at Rehfeldt's book. I have heard the Farmer book is a good resource as well. Any other suggestions? Thank you.

“Oh, you must tell me what the clarinet is saying in that wonderful solo!” “Madame,” replied Rimsky-Korsakov, “the clarinet says: ‘I’m a clarinet!’”

First question - Why?
Anyway, here are some additional E7 fingering ideas:
The 2nd Ridenour suggestion for E7 is much better than the 1st, and it usually works. It would be my first choice.
Another E7 fingering to try:
(no thumb/no register key) x x 3 / 1 2 x + G#/Eb key.
A bit slippery, slightly flat, but usually speaks well (if all the planets are aligned)
Multiphonics? Which specific ones do you need? I have collected a few, no guarantee I have the ones you might need...GBK
