I read in the wall Street Journal an article about Artie Shaw. Did you know he was up for 2 Grammy Awards for the Self Portrait CD? Sadly, he did not win. I am thrilled to see a clarinetist was nominated. Did anyone have a chance to hear the radio interview last month?

Shaw was beat in both categories by Charley Patton.

Artie probably couldn't care less...GBK
