RE: Double Sharp

Author: D.B.  Date:   1999-09-22 20:57 the Double sharp makes the note after it go up 2 1/2 steps (two half steps). You do not take the key signature into account - example, key of G (1 sharp F#) if there is an F double sharp, the F would go up 2 half steps to G. If there were not an F# in the Key signature, it would not make a difference at all (still played a G) - that is important to remember. http://www.mytempo.com (discounting pieces with double sharps in them
