Just wondering if anyone reading this board might be in Moscow or know anyone over there. My ensemble is going there in April and I would love to not have to deal with bringing my bass on an international flight. The festival is affiliated with the Moscow conservatory so maybe a student there would be able to help me out.
Thanks!

Yes, it would be difficult to get the aquarium past security. However, any Moscow fishmonger should be able to help you. If a bass is not available, they would surely have a sturgeon.
Oh. Wait. Never mind. I think phonics phailed me.

If security gives you guff, tell them you need it to play that popular tuna "Salmon-Chanted Evening." If there's any trouble, call the cods. Speak up, though, they're hard of herring.
(love that old Kip Adotta song).

lol! I think something smells a little fishy here.
I am thinking maybe you could get in contact with the conservatory. Maybe through email, or something, and you can ask them there. I'm sure a student has one that you could borrow, or maybe even the school.
Good luck and have a good trip!
