Hey,
I was wondering if anyone makes a reed clipper specifically for bass clarinet. I have found a Tenor Sax Cordier, but am not sure if it is the right one. Thank you!

Hi Chris,
Both Rigotti and Cordier list Bass Clarinet Reed Clippers in the WW & BW catalogue. I have used tenor sax reeds, the clipper, with bass clarinet with no problems but you may wish not to do that in your case.

The Cordier Bass Clarinet clipper works great.

I play on both B C and Tenor Sax reeds, and use my Cordier T S trimmer on both. IMHO, I prefer the very slightly wider[tip] T S's to better cover the tips of my Pomarico and C* mps. Bari sax reeds are too wide for me. Don

I also use the Cordier Tenor Sax clipper for my bass reeds. It works great! Haven't tried the Cordier Bass Clarinet clipper.
