RonD - you are not the Webmaster here. Please refrain from telling people what and what not to do - I take that responsibility and the heat that goes with it. If you really want the job, you'll need to start your own board.

Ric, RonD has given you correct information, though he had no right to do so. I've deleted your posting.

RonD, why so judgemental? Yes, it is stated at the top of the board that this is a discussion group etc., but it is highly possible that a person may not have read that before posting something. I know that I have often (actually, far too often) done something with out completely reading the directions--which is why new mew Gateway laptop is on its way back to the factory (sh, don't tell them it was my fault). I'm also sure that most--if not all--of the other people that subscribe to this board have also done something without fulling reading the directions. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt for someday you will be on the receiving end of such badgering.

:-)

Mitch, RonD merely drew Ric's attention to the rules of the "phorum"(although he apparently should have left that to Mark). Giving information like that is not badgering, it is kinder than leaving someone ignorant of what had gone wrong.

It's all good, right? I mean, all anyone had to say is where this was relocated to so that we could find it.

Don't blame it on yourself, Mitch. I've had far too many bad experiences with my gateway laptop. Funny thing was, I only had it for a grand total of 3 days. =/

Sorry OT... just wanted to let you know that it may not have been totally your fault.
