Has anyone tried a Greg Smith mouthpiece? What is the response like? What kind of tone quality does it produce? I am looking for a mouthpiece that produces a full and dark tone. Any sugesstions would be appreciated.

Greg's got an excellent reputation for mouthpieces. As with all equipment, you'll have to try them to see if they're for you. He has a good trial policy - in most cases people try 3 and send back the 2 they don't want (or all 3 if that's what happens).
The only problem that I've ever heard of was trying to make the decision <I>which</I> to send back; some people end up buying all 3!

I have never really cared for his Bb mouthpieces. Not big enough projection or sound for me. Plus his mouthpieces are designed to work with V-12 reeds which i dislike very much.
His Eb mouthpieces are great. I had two but traded the lesser one for a Pomarico bass mouthpiece. But i still use the one i bought directly from him. The only mouthpiece i've liked better has been my teacher's Chedeville and Kaspar Eb's....

When I bought my Bb mouthpiece, he asks for your setup. I was leaning towards one mouthpiece but he thought I should go with the 1*. With V12 reeds, it played beautifully. I have noticed that other reed combos do not seem to work quite as well.

When i tried his mouthpieces at the ClarFest in '97 he did the same deal... at the time i was playing V-12's because back then they were half decent... I almost bought one back then but then i learned a little more about projection and found that his Bb mouthpieces didn't have what i needed.
But then again, nothing comes close to either of the Kaspars or Chedevilles... atleast not in my view.

i play on a greg smith 1+ mouthpiece and it is sooooo great you really should try them they are some of the best on the market--hope that i could help

I am using for my Selmer 10SII:
1)Greg Smith tip-opening 1 straight bore mouthpiece
2)Chadash barrel "A" reamered with the mouthpiece
3)Reed profiler to make V12 or Rico Grand Concert Thick Blank exactly to legendary MORRE reed developed by Robert Marcelus
This setting is great.Following are other info.
0)He is using Zinner blank from Bavaria.Its hard rubber material is proprietary.
1)They are only for reed thickness 3.5 or 4.
2)V12(MORRE look-alike reed) or Grand Concerto-Thick only.
Other reeds with big heel thickness like Zonda can be
used also.V12 has 3.15mm heel for your INFO.ZONDA has
larger heel thickness.
3)There are two choices of bore, angled(german type) or straight bore(French type).Angled one may emit darker tones.
If you make trial,angled ones too might be a choice.
4)Chadash "A" is for narrower bore clarinet like Selmer Recital or 10SII,which have 0.56s " bore.I strongly recommend to get Chadash barrel with his mouthpiece.Emit totaly different darker (including broader harmonics) tones. Anybody can identify the difference.
5)I used Rovner,Bonade(inverted),Liguaphone and
Bay(14K plated,inverted).Bay made a big,really big
difference.

I've seen you post a fw times already a bit of false info.
1: The Morré reeds were not designed by Robert Marcellus. He used them and has all his students play them. But to my knowledge, he did not help design them.
2: The only way to exactly cop a Morré reed is to use another Morré reed. I haven't found another commecial reed with a butt anything close to the thickness of the Morré's.
3: The V-12 reeds were designed in collaboration with Anthony Gigliotti. They try to incorporate a similar style as the Morré's, but putting a V-12 next to a Morré is obvious which is which.
