Are you looking for something specific or just anything in general?

Wjk, just out of curiousity; did you ever receive the pile of free CDs I sent you months ago for help on your previous quest as a band composer? I never got any kind of response or feedback from you. v/r Ken

Does anyone know of anywhere in the UK or Internet where New Orleans jazz transcriptions/sheet music can be found?

Try asking in alt.music.saxophone. People there have been very helpful with transcriptions.

Carbon copying (transcriptions) any kind of improvisational (jazz:) playing seems to me to be counter productive unless you use it as a springboard to launch your own ideas. Most libraries have song books that contain most, if not all, of the tunes you're likely to hear played by early (and late) jazz musicians.
Reader's Digest published some volumes of 20s-40s hits (and a few misses:). Check 'em out :]
