Hi all,
Need some opinions. I have started my daughter who is in 8th grade on the rose studies. (I have the David Hite version from the Southern Music Company) My daughter has just about completed the first piece from the Rose 40 studies. My question is what is a good sequence of study for her? I am looking for the most effective course of study based on the Rose Studies.
All opinions will be gratefully accepted.

This is one suggestion.
If one day she plays a tune of a key, she should practice scales and arpeggios of that key and select/practice the same key Rose 40/32 pieces.Practicing like this, she can learn by heart what kind of key sounds like, and accumulate her sensitivity.
After that, she will be able to concentrate her effort into how to express musically each Rose piece. Hopefully under superb (not mediocre) instructors at that stage.
Point is to use psycology.

I really love that book and isn't No.7 by Gavines just about the sweetest clarinet piece you ever heard!
