Hello everyone,
I am looking to purchase a used Buffet Crampon Festival Bb clarinet to complete a pair.
I currently play on an older Festival A clarinet from the late 90s/early 2000s. To keep the keywork ergonomics and blowing resistance consistent between the two instruments, I am specifically looking for a Bb clarinet from the same manufacturing period (Serial number approx 43x,xxx to 48x,xxx).
I am simply looking for a solid working instrument that matches my A clarinet's specs.
Requirements:
• Condition: Wood must be sound with NO cracks (active or repaired).
• Material: Grenadilla wood only (No Greenline).
• Location: Seller must be in the EU to avoid customs.
I am looking for a fair deal on a used instrument. If you have one you are not using, please PM or email me with photos.
"I require the A=442Hz version."
Thanks.

Hello,
While I do have a Festival for sale, I am in the US.
However, I would not limit myself to a specific s/n since the Festival has not changed until recently.
Any Festival from 43x,xxx to about 75xxxxx should have the same bore.
Often the extra resistance is the result of a leaking pad.
A tiny leak in the upper joint from a thrill key, or throat A/G#/register key will make a clarinet resistant but it still may be "playable".
Good luck hunting for a Bb Festival
