 Picc trill F# to G#
Author: Michelle Davis

I need to play 3rd octave trill, F# to G# for Kodaly's, "Hary Janos Suite". Does anyone have a good fingering? I can't find one in any chart and none of my colleagues have one. Thanks!

I usually use T 1-3|-23, without the Eb key. Trill thumb and LH 1. This one comes from the Dec. 1997 issue of Flute Talk.

I use my Broser F# and trill b to C#.

Far from perfect and not inventive.

You could try to finger F# minus Eb key.

If I can come up with anything else will
let you know.................HL
