Like I mentioned in another thread I want to play the oboe starting like next summer. I've been searching on the internet for music schools where I could get into a program for like a year. I haven't really been coming up with anything except the Manhattan School of Music. Doesn't seem like they have any short certificate programs or anything. They have degree programs. Anyone can recomend a good music school, not too pricey, in New York City, Brooklyn preferably?

Try searching for Mannes School (or college) of Music. it's a good music school, but it's in Manhatten.
