I've seen the B45 on sale in England for £57. If you have the standard mouthpiece that came with your clarinet, then the chances are it is atrocious. You will notice a huge improvement in tone when you switch to a professional mouthpiece such as the Vandoren B45. The B45 is a mod-range mouthpiece, suitable for most types of music. If you are going to specialise in jazz, there are others more suitable.

It is like the best mouthpiece ever...i tryed it and it was awesome. Its a lot easier to blow fast air into it and it makes your sound really loud. I think it might be around $80. If u get one...dont drop it cuz it will break...ive seen it happen its scary.

i have a B45 and i bought it from Weiner Music
http://www.weinermusic.com/angelica/Frame1.html If you want to buy it then go to that link then scroll down to clarinet mouthpieces...click on it...then at the next screen on the right hand side click "Vandoren" and a list of Vandoren mouthpieces come up. B45 is $51 at that site. It is the cheapest i have found.
