 oboe low register

what should i do to my new oboe reed(unfinished) to enhance the lower register while maintaining a balance of the upper register?
my middle c & g is very sharp so what should i do to improve or change?
i've heard a lot of ya advice but i need more, thanks!

I use store bought reeds (la voz) in this manner a french cut, medium hardness. Unconcsistent but at its the only source i can get,i can buy from the net but that will not get me a perfect reed anyway since no one can know what i need, since i don't even know myself. As i've mentioned several times, i live in a part of the world where an oboe really ain't something usual.......
