Well, now that I've found how to finger a low C#, I hope someone can help me get it to come out. Any time I add the C# key, it wants to jump the octave. Any advice is appreciated!

Hi, I am a sax player of 6 years, and I might be able to help you. Low notes really suck on the sax, espicially when you are expected to play low. What I do is, when I get lower, I tighten up my bottom lip, and I inhale my mouthpiece pretty far. This has always worked for me, hopefully for you! GOOD LUCK!! Tim

Drop your jaw, that's all you have to do.

Drop your jaw, and if that isn't good enough push your right thumb up to apply a LITTLE BIT of pressure on the upper teeth.
