hey guys i've been wondering whether anyone of u plays the bassoon and can teach me a thing or two about it.thanks

I do!! I love it, hehe. Um...Onhe thing to know...You want to keep your head straight, don't bend it to fit with the reed. The bocal and reed can move, not you.

for many cases instead of using Eb (the 2nd octave, i.e. 3rd space) rather than just using 1, 3 and Whisper, use 1,3, whisper, (2nd hand==>) 2, thumb Bb, and pinky Eb. And for scales with increasing flats after Eb, use fingering 1,2,3, whisper, and the key just above whisper (C#/Db Key) for Db and only lift off 3 for Eb. Makes life a heck of a lot easier for beginners. Im a professional Baboon player and its a lifesaver
