I already play sax, flute, and oboe and are at ABRSM grade 6 in all. I was wonderening if it would be okay for me to start clarinet. If so, what would be a good model to start out on. Please help!

Anything from the big four makers would be fine, i.e. Buffet, Leblanc, Selmer, Yamaha. You could go to www.boosey.com (buffet),www.gleblanc.com(leblanc),www.selmer.com(I don't Yamaha's website) for more info on their models.

I play clarinet, and I have a Vito, which is made by LeBlanc. But as corey said anything from the four big makers would be fine.

I started on a Selmer which is good for the first year, but you need to change to another because Selmer's sound quality isnt exactly perfect.
