 BASS CLARINET morton feldman

Hello - after years of listening intensely, I'm reading again and I come across this Feldman piece which I have to transpose from concert to b - flat, but where it has the (o)symbol above notation, I read it as being a harmonic - e.g. overblown with that funny open hole key on the upper b/e note - but recordings differ [Roger Heaton and New Millennium Ensemble contradict eachother] who knows how to play it? - Should I just play it my way????????????
