 practise technique

hey, whats the best way to practise stuff that seems to hard to play, i play piano and clarinet as side so i kinda suck at clarinet, i have support but it is realy hard, do u guys have any techniques to practise hard phrases and stuff?

break 'em down - piece by piece, bit by bit, practice the parts that are the hardest, you can play it slow, and then get a bit faster and a bit faster, and a bit faster...

practise. go over so many times you are sick and tired of hearing it, then go over it some more. go incredibly slow and speed up wil faster then you need to. that way your fingers can go to their spot easier when you slow things back down to it's proper tempo. but make sure you don't always keep a fast tempo, or that can affect the song and/or the ensamble. hope this helps.

One thing I would like to add:
whether you're playing in a slow or a very fast tempo, you should move your fingers as quick as possible!

When slowing the tempo, don't slow the motion of your fingers.
