 Pacific Overtures

I'll be doing a musical in a couple weeks that I'm unfamiliar with. "Pacific Overtures". I just got the book....it says "small" on the cover, so I assume it is some sort of combo version. The cover says clarinet and flute, but there's piccolo and recorder written on individual tunes. It's printed in the old style...big brown cover with yellowed hand written music. From what I can see, the book is a mess and borders on illegible. Can anyone offer any insights into the musical.....it's Sondheim by the way.

You might start here

http://www.mtishows.com/show_home.asp?ID=000056

particularly the "Instrumentation" page.
