I'm a clarinetist preparing for my college senior recital, and I wanted to have a piece that also showed off my ability as a saxophonist, but I know my professor will not allow me to play a solo saxophone piece. I was wondering if anyone knew of any rep that was written for clarinet and doubling on saxophone. I play alto saxophone more often, but I'm open to any sax and piano accompaniment.
Thanks so much for your suggestions!

A bit of googling turned up these:
Hodkinson: Interplay, for flute/alto flute, clarinet/sax, percussion, contrabass
Hailstork: Consort piece, for flute, clarinet/sax, trumpet, percussion, violin, cello, piano
I don't know anything about either of them in terms of playability.
Someone once told me about a concerto for clarinet and band in which the soloist doubles sax, but she didn't recall the composer, and there would need to be a piano reduction for your purposes anyway.
Would you professor be open to your composing or transcribing something?

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll definitely go look them up.
My professor is open to me transcribing pieces as I'm already transcribing "Molly on the Shore" by Grainger for clarinet quartet. Unfortunately I have no composition talents, so composing something is probably not going to happen.
