I'm a new student taking private clarinet lessons.
I'm considering getting the Maestro Clarinet video
as a complement to my lessons. My instructor is
not familiar with the video and I was wondering if
it is worth the $20. Or if the Warner Brother
series for Clarinet lesson be more helpful ?
Any help or insight into a clarinet instructional
video would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am not familiar with the Maestro Clarinet video. Do you have more information on it?
I sell the Ultimate Beginner Series videos which are from Warner Bros Music. I assume this is what you are referring to. Based on the description on the videos, I think the material would be covered in about 4 lessons. If you are taking lessons you don't need these videos. I seem them as only being for adult beginners who can't get or don't want lessons.

The instructor on the clarinet video is Ron Reynolds. This is
part of a series on beginning instruction videos for a number of
other instruments with different instructors. Other videos
are flute, trombone, trumpet, saxophone, snare drum, etc.
I was wondering if the video would be helpful to help review
what one has learned in class and provide a visual and audio
check on playing correctly for the beginning student.
