Okay.. I kind of figured out a way to do this on my own. But I was just curious, what is the right way (or preferred) to make Eb reeds. I like cut off better than regular Eb reeds so don't post just suggest using regular Eb reeds!!

FYI:
Eb clarinet reeds have a specific vamp which help stabilize the pitch. Too long or short a vamp adversely affect the pitch on this highly unstable little clarinet.
That said, your Bb reeds have too long a vamp to make them usable professionally, as the pitch will suffer greatly. You may like the sound of those Bb reeds on your Eb clarinet, but check for pitch problems.
Perhaps you might try hard Eb reeds, and then work them down to your playing strength, like a reed blank?
Good luck,
JJM

I just use an electrical wire crimper--cuts the base off quick and clean.
