 Paul Meyer & Weber

Hi,

Just bought his recording of the two concertos and concertino. Does anyone seem to think he plays quite fast on these?

I also thought he accented some notes excessively.

Whats everyone think?

Thanks,
Rob

I think he shows great control of over all of it.
I am amazed by his articulation.
This guy is simply an amazing player, his sound his so uniform in all register and he goes over the breaks so smoothly. It's incredible.

I agree some of it is too fast for my taste, but I generally don't think Weber wrote the most exciting music anyways so it's nice to get it over with fast and sow off your technical skills while you're at it ;->

Very true Sylvain,

I have to stand in awe of Meyer's Quartet for the End of Time recording. It is magnificent!
