I have a few of Alessandro Carbonare's recordings and very much admire his playing and musicianship. A few months ago I posted a question here to see if anyone knew where to obtain his recording of the Mozart Concerto. However, all of the stores (online and local) I have tried ordering it through have been unsuccessful. Even after contacting Mr. Carbonare about this, I have still been out of luck. I have learned that the recording is currently out of print, so I guess my best bet is to try and find a used copy. Does anyone who owns this recording willing to sell it to me? Any other suggestions as to how I might be able to obtain it would be appreciated.

I think H&B was one of the first companies I tried. Although they list the recording on their site as available, they were not able to get it for me.

perha[s the ever popular Ebay may have it (although you probably have tried). Or www.half.com (also part of Ebay). They sell lots of used items. Amazon maybe, or do what I did and do a completely random search on a search engine. That was how I found a dvd that I wanted that was produced only in China and hadn't found it's way to the US.

these places will tell you that you can get it, then make you wait ages to only hear from them that they can't get it. i think i wrote that in the original posting too. You could email me, and i could possibly email you back with another suggestion.... also, i'll be in Germany for a month and could look there- sometimes these CDs from small companies will sit in CD stores for ages and it may be that i can find it (i think i found my copy of this in Hamburg in 2000, but the Brahms one from the same label took great effort to procure from Italy via a friend of a friend....)
