I am looking for a teacher in or around the Derby area,I have been playing for around a year and am currently studying Grade 5 material.I can travel in areas served by public transport although I do not have transport of my own.I would be happy for a teacher to come to me if that were possible.I am 30 years old and am interested in teaching clarinet in the future,I also play other instruments. Thank-you in advance Cherrybomb:)

(Apologies for listing anything too obvious.)Try secondary schools, the woodwind teachers probably do private jobs. Music / instrument shops sometimes have a list behind the counter of local teachers, or cards in the windows. Instrument repairers might have contacts. Yellow pages, local newspapers.
A local orchestra or wind band might be a source of real teachers, or pupils you can grill. Have a squint at

(I'd have linked it a little closer, but I'm crap at geography, and have no idea where Derby is...)
