I have used my Zoom 2 to record myself using mp3 128 so as to make it compatible with emailing it. The trouble is I can't get on track to do this. I'm using Windows media player. I can isolate the tracks I want but how should I proceed to transfer it my computer and then access it for emailing? This is for my clarinet playing so it's relevant here I think.

Connect the Zoom to your computer with the USB cable and copy the tracks you want to email. Copy them to your computer desktop and then select the tracks in your email to attach.

thanks David, I was just putting the card in my computer from the zoom. Transfering is the problem. I'll try the cord.

There is a USB setting if I remember (been 2 years since I've used one). Check the manual on transferring

On my windows XP system, the drivers to read from devices like cameras and the Zoom H2 are almost always inoperable. So I have a USB adapter that accepts the memory cards, and they almost always make the medium look to the computer like another disk drive.
Once that is achieved, you can easily pick the files you want to use.
OH, and set your Zoom H2 to record in MP3 format instead of .wav format to save HUGE amounts of memory and email bandwidths.
