 Clarinet Symposium @U of OK

Hello all!

I was wondering if anyone was going to the clarinet symposium at the Univ. of Oklahoma (June 6-9). I am planning on it and hoping to have a great experience. I understand that a lot of excellent players will be there, along with some wonderful masterclasses, workshops, and of course, retailers. If anyone could tell me how a convention like this works, I'd love to hear about it. I've never been anywhere like that..it should be an interesting and educational experience. I was wondering if any of you were planning on attending??

Heidi

A goodly number of us from NE Okla, pros, semi's [like me] and students, make it each year, yes, what you have heard is correct, its a fine experience. Besides M classes, performances and general friendships, many vendors bring their "travelling" stock for trials and talk, maybe sales. Catlett Music Center is GREAT. Come, Don
