Does anybody know where I can find the minor scales written out on line? I would like to print them off to be able to see them to learn them.
Thanks,
Sara

Sara...You will probably benefit much more from writing out your own chart, using Klose, Baermann, or a similar exercise book as a guide, rather than just copying one off line...GBK

Speaking of that, which minor scale is harmonic and which one is melodic? I get them mixed up!

Stephanie:
The harmonic minor scale has the seventh scale degree raised a half step both on the way up and the way down...the melodic has the sixth and seventh scale degrees raised on the way up and on the way down the scale is the same as the natural minor.
For example
a natural minor:
A B C D E F G A (same both up and down)
a harmonic:
A B C D E F G# A (same both up and down)
a melodic:
A B C D E F# G# A G F E D C B A
(F# G# going up, G-natural F-natural coming down)
Hope that's clear
