I would love to have one case that would house both my Bb (Buffet) and C (Ridenour) clarinets. I know about the Bona double case but was hoping there existed something more affordable that could hold both horns. Looking around online, I haven't yet seen anything.
Ideas?

I just use a conventional double case for Bb and A. The C goes into the Bb spaces and the Bb goes into the A, with a cloth wrapped around each to keep them secure. It leaves room in the case for reeds, spare mouthpiece, whatever.

In previous posts where members have also asked for unique configurations (although I couldn't find any for Bb and C clarinets) it's been suggested to look at gun cases.
Such cases often have flat foam on the side of the case that lies on top of a surface, and "egg crate" type of foam on the side you lift in the air. This allows firearms of many different unique sizes to be held by these cases.
Of course make sure that such a case holds your instruments and accessories in place neither too losely nor too tightly.
(This post is neither endorsement of, nor protest against gun ownership/control. Such discussions belong on other bboards.)
