I'm going to play the Poulenc Sonata soon. What is the preferred fingering?

I use T R | 0 X X | X 0 0 F# -- that is, the same as the D below, but with the low F# key.

I will try it in the Golden Wedding as well. I am bound to have to play it this week or next week. Hope it works on my Oehler.

I actually depends on which F#6 fingering that you use prior to the G#.
If for F#6 you use: TR oxo/ ooo Eb/Ab
Then, for G#6 I prefer either;
TR ooo / xoo Eb/Ab
or
TR oxx/ xox C#/F#
If you pick a different F#6 fingering, then there are different G#6 choices...GBK

On the Poulenc sonata, I used T-R | o x o | x o o Ab, or the same as the standard F# (which precedes and follows it) plus the right index finger.

Anybody ever tried TR xoo LS 1&2 Trill Keys/ooo LH C/F? Pops out beautifully (and in tune!) on my setup. Don't know about using it in the Poulenc.
