I'm starting the graduate school process and i was wondering if anyone has heard about the clarinet programs at u. of oregon and suny at potsdam. i already have received tons of information from these schools in the mail but i was hoping someone out there in clarinet land could help. My potential plan of study would be mm in performance and to get my teaching certificate. thanks in advance for any help!

I don't really know anythign about those schools, but now that we're on the topic... Anyone have anythign to say about Northwestern? I've been looking at that program a bit for music education and it looks impressive. I've still got a few more years of UG work before I'll be doing graduate stuff.

One of my HS music teachers got a degree from Potsdam...Crane is a great school, and the teacher in question is a phenominal player. I would definitely consider it.

Dr Woy is the teacher at Potsdam. He's really great. Have you also considered Eastman?
